Unique, continuous barley and malt roasting technology, which differs significantly from hot air technology.
Heating process:
Heat is not transferred by hot air as in conventional equipment, but the malt is directly in contact with the surface of an electrically heated tube.
Advantages of the technology:
- The amount of steam generated during the roasting process is significantly reduced, the product is treated in its own steam (better flavor)
- For product transport, REVTECH technology uses vibration in a spiral tube and this ensures very good mixing and perfect homogeneity
- The grains are treated very evenly by the vibration
- A wide range of colors and flavors can be varied on the same machine thanks to the precise control of the roasting parameters
The technology can also be used for roasting barley, dry malt and green malt.
